Principles
Dare is a completely new kind of platform that aims to shed light on what your data is, what it is used for and to whom. Dare is therefore built as a transparent tool that allows you to see everything, understand everything and therefore choose at any time. Explanations.
100% free or nothing
Who is willing to pay to exercise their rights?
Anybody.
Unlike some of its competitors, Dare does not require its users to pay for its services. There is no cost to exercise your rights defined by the regulations. Dare is therefore free and always will be, in principle.
We built the platform with our own money, and even today, the costs are more important than the gains. This is why we are appealing for donations for those who wish to support Dare.
No cookie, no tracking.
When a site is free, it means that you are the product ... Not with Dare.
Here or in your Dare account, you will never get any ads. And yet, it is thanks to ads that free sites are paid. Syned, no. We are paid thanks to companies that register on the platform to answer you. Why ? Because selling your data, installing cookies and trackers on your devices goes against our values. Dare should be a trusted place for everyone.
Moreover, the platform only writes a single cookie in your device in order to guarantee the security of access to your account and to remember your preferences (dark or light theme).
Zero spam, intrusive emails or sms
We created Dare the way we would like any platform to be: respectful.
Why are you getting so many emails or notifications from your favorite apps and websites? To make you come back on it, that you use them. The more you are there, the more you click, the more the site will be able to monetize its pages to display ads or share your data. Not with Dare!
We only send you the bare minimum to manage your account and be alerted to the follow-up of your requests to organizations.
Use Dare as you wish
Reluctant to share some of your information with Dare? We respect him.
You are not forced to fill in information if you do not want to. And unlike most platforms and apps, you can still benefit from Dare services by minimizing the information you provide.
Example: Justine wants to know her fingerprint and take action with organizations that send her emails. She connects her mailbox to Dare and obtains an incredible amount of results! Conversely, Marc is suspicious, he prefers to use Dare's search engine to find the organizations he has in mind and to do it his way.
Justine uses the search engine to surf the web; she particularly appreciates not being followed and that everything she seeks remains perfectly confidential. Moreover, she finds all her data in her safe, unheard of!
All your data is at your fingertips
We cannot advocate transparency without being so ourselves.
At Syned, we want the web world to be more respectful and more transparent. We apply this principle to ourselves to begin with, hoping that little by little all the organizations will also get started thanks to you, your awareness and your requirement.
For us, this principle goes very far:
All of your data on Dare belongs to you, even if it is not personal data.
Everything you do in Dare ends up in your safe; you do what you want with it.
You can easily exercise your rights with Syned from your Settings.
When you delete your account, we return all of your data (really all)
